PoleDancingUK endeavours to ensure all their schools provide a fun yet safe environment to learn the art of pole dance. Before letting new pole dance schools join PDUK we check that they meet our minimum requirements.
Below is a list of the requirements needed to become a PDUK school.
- A minimum of 2 instructors per school
- No more than 3 girls to a pole in class
- Must have been operating for at least 18 months
- Have a proven health and safety record
- Must have PDUK approved floor mats such as Pole-O-Mat
- Instructors must be fully insured and first aid certified
- Must use safe poles such as X-Poles or Pleasure Poles
- Schools must not be exploitative and aim to make charges reasonable
